Reading Groups

WhatsOnMyBookshelf.com just launched virtual reading groups. The groups are intended as areas for finding users with similar interests although books in the group may not all be of the same type. Each group can also have multiple subgroups. For example I can create the group "The University of Scranton" and add a subgroup for "Computer Science". Viewing the group will display the books and users in that group. The tagging system is still the best way to find books by type or subject.

You can browse groups from the link on the homepage and add groups on the "Manage Account" page.

The groups are still in development and we are tweaking them continuously.

Please let us know what you think and what needs to be changed!

How about on the main groups page you also add a column listing the number of members there where it lists the total number of books and group owners.
