Some Interface Improvements
I'm sitting here listening to Sufjan Stevens, drinking some wine, and eating dark chocolate knowing that I have tons to do. Then I remembered that I haven't posted for awhile. We have been busy doing a lot of little behind the scenes tweaks that range from scam protection to interface improvements.
A group was kind enough to review our site's interface and give tons of constructive criticism that I just have to share:
1) General Review
2) User Test
We are working on fulfilling all of their suggestions and would also like to hear from you on interface improvements. We haven't put a lot of work into web 2.0 style design and have focused more on a feature rich interface, but we want to make the site as usable and accessible as possible. There will be some great new features coming that will help with finding and registering books.

Truly International
Up until this point WhatsOnMyBookshelf has had a very Americanized view of the world. Users were either in the United States or International. In conjunction with the growing user base we have added the ability to specify which countries you would like to ship to.
Go here and select the countries from a list of those you would be willing to ship books. This designation will then appear on all your books and only users from those countries will be able to request them.

Color Correction
I just want to correct a statement that I made in the newsletter that was sent out today.
Users are colored according to their level of participation and dedication, which red being the lowest level of participation. In the newsletter I stated:
I recommend that you use the message system and contact them prior to placing an order. After all, if they don't ship then you can simply cancel the order which will refund your credits.

...users who have a negative rating and should be avoided are colored "red".By this statement I do not mean that community members who have a negative investment value should be exiled, but rather than you should be skeptical and cautious when ordering from them. If they have a book you want then by all means go for it!
